Inspiration
Swim Team is inspired by summers spent in and around the water, where the days stretch long, your hair smells faintly of chlorine, and you’re wrapped in a towel, enjoying an orange twin pop. It’s the nostalgic scent of a childhood summer spent playing mermaids in the pool. Named after a favorite Dirty Heads album, Swim Team captures that carefree sun-soaked feeling. Best enjoyed on hot days when the sun is high, and you want something refreshing.
“I’ve always been drawn to water, and so is my German/Aussie Shepherd, Crowley, who we lovingly call our water boy (Bobby Boucher style). I’d been wanting to create a candle that really captured the scent and feel of hot days playing in the pool. After a year of experimenting, Swim Team finally came together, bringing that nostalgic pool water smell to life and elevating it with classic summer notes like sunscreen and coconut. Swim Team is dedicated to Crowley, who loves water more than anything, with his child-like energy and pure joy.”
