Longer days. Shorter to-do lists (we hope). The kind of heat that makes you move slower, breathe deeper, and relax on a balcony with a mocktail in hand, reading the latest Jeneva Rose novel. The goal becomes less about getting it all done and more about enjoying what’s here.
I started curating my own personal summer lineup, the items I’m coveting and those I’m reaching for the most. The theme was clear: beauty meets function. I like things that add a little something extra to the routine, making it more special (this is what CarteHaus is all about), now I’m giving it a summer twist.
I’ve pulled it all together in one list to share with you—some items are from our collection, others are from brands I love. Welcome to the summer edit.
Daily Essential – Hygge Hand and Body Lotion

Our hands still need hydration in the summer! I designed this formula for people (like me) who don’t like sticky lotions, especially in summer. It sinks in quickly, hydrates without the heaviness, and leaves your skin feeling silky and soft.
Because we’re all about elevating function, this lotion is delicately scented with our best-selling Hygge blend: cocoa butter, white tea, and sandalwood. Not sweet, not too strong, just enough to make you pause and enjoy it every time you use it.
Hot Tip: Keep it by your bedside, near the kitchen, or your desk (or all places). You’ll reach for it more than you think.
Home Accent – Blue + White Ceramic Striped Vase

You know when a room just needs something to feel complete? This is that something. The slightly imperfect sketched stripes give it a relaxed, coastal vibe that looks high-end without the price tag. The shape is soft but statement-making, and the blue feels like Santorini skies.
Styling tip: These look great both with fresh blooms, a few foraged branches,or leave it empty on a shelf beside a stack of coffee table books.
On-The-Go Luxury – BEIS Cooler Backpack

I’m OBSESSED with my cooler backpack. It makes beach days and hikes much easier to pack for without the awkward balance of carrying a cooler, or the strap of a tote bag digging into your shoulder.
It fits drinks, snacks, and even a little bottle of something sparkling if you’re feeling festive. Plus, the design is so chic, it doesn’t look like a cooler.
Style Fix – Nar’sha Mini Metal Hair Tie

When it gets hot AF, I can’t stand having my hair down. As much as I’d like to be the girl who can pull off a blowout in 85˚+ temperatures, I know I’ll be reaching for something to get my hair off my neck by noon. This little hair tie with a gold metal accent is a lifesaver. It works like a regular elastic but instantly makes a regular ponytail or messy bun look more elevated.
I love using it when I’m heading to markets or packing orders, but still want to look polished. Minimal effort, full effect.
Signature Scent – Memoire Archives “By The Sea” EDP

The scent of the summer. I find most summer fragrances are either too heavy on the coconut and citrus, or so light you may as well use nothing. Memoire Archives is a niche fragrance house, and their scents are very unique. With “By the Sea,” you’re not getting that typical summer scent; instead, you get a fresh blend of mandarin rind, magnolia blossom, and notes of sand dunes. It's light and refreshing, but still noticeable, so you can enjoy it all day.

Summer Drink – Seven Tea House Hibiscus Herbal Tea

For me, summer means ice-cold beverages. Lately, I’ve been reaching for this Seven Tea House Hibiscus Herbal Tea and preparing it as an iced tea with some fresh lemon squeezed into it. It’s refreshing, tart, and floral all in one. It makes a random hot Tuesday evening feel like a vacation. Drink it on its own, or as the base of a delicious cocktail or mocktail.
If you love the floral tartness of hibiscus, our Island Glow candle captures that same spirit.
Beauty Essential – Coola Liplux Lip Balm SPF

We’re good about protecting our skin, but we always forget about the lips! Did you know the lips have the thinnest skin on our face? Burnt lips peel, chap, and are just the worst. But, I know most SPF lip balms can feel and look like sunscreen with that weird medical taste. Coola’s SPF 30 lip balm is the best. No weird sunscreen taste, no white cast. It looks and feels like a lip balm plus the protection factor.
Throw it in your bag and reapply as often as you would your gloss. Your lips will thank you.

Whether it’s a better beach bag, a scent that makes you feel extra luxe, or a lotion that makes you pause and breathe deep, you deserve things that make the routine feel more special.
